The ICT Department creates an email account to all Machakos University staff and students.

How to Create Email address and Portal account

1. Reporting to Session

Login to the LMS using your student credentials.
Navigate to "Session Reporting" or "Declare Academic Year".
Select the current session (e.g., 2024/2025 Semester 1).
Click "Report to Session" and confirm your details.

2. Paying Fees

Go to the "Fees" or "Finance" section on the LMS.
Generate your fee statement.
Pay using M-PESA or bank with the provided account details.
Confirm payment via the LMS if needed.

3. Registering Units

Navigate to "Course Registration" under Academics.
Select the academic year and semester.
Tick the units you're taking.
Click "Submit" or "Register".

4. Downloading Exam Card

Go to the "Exam Card" section on the LMS.
Select the current semester.
Click "Generate Exam Card".
Download and print it.

5. Checking Results

Go to "Results" or "Academic Records".
Select the correct academic year and semester.
Click "View Results" to see your grades.
Download your result slip or transcript if available.
